* The Judges of the Tarrant County Probate Courts will only waive court costs and attorney ad litem fees if both the Applicants and the Ward are without an estate AND the total family income falls below double the federal poverty guidelines. Furthermore, the Tarrant County Clerk regularly challenges pauper's affidavits. If the County challenges your affidavit, you will be charged for our time in responding to the challenge.

Guardianship of the Person and Estate, Contested Matters, or guardianships that do not meet the Duran Firm requirements for a fixed fee.

Attorney's and Paralegal's Fees will be charged on an hourly basis. The current rates for such fees are as follows:

Our minimum retainer for such matters is $3,000, unless the matter is uncontested and we can be assured that we will be able to obtain our fees from the guardianship estate.
