* The Judges of the Dallas County Probate Courts will waive the Filing Fee, Citation Preperation Fee, and Attorney Ad Litem Deposit if both the Applicants and the Ward are without an estate AND the total family income is below double the federal poverty guidelines. The Dallas County Clerk regularly contests requests to waive fees. Therefore, when submitting an affidavit of inability to pay costs, it is always best to attach supporting documents that demonstrate an inability to pay costs. Nevertheless, if the County contests your affidavit and you want to respond to the Clerk's contest, you will be charged for our time in responding to the contest. |
